These are the ingredients you’ll need for a chocolate cappuccino:
1 cup chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
1 3/4 cups scalded whole milk
2 cups hot brewed espresso bean coffee (made in a drip coffee maker). Or 4 shots of fresh espresso.
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
chocolate shavings to taste
With these ingredients, you can make 8 servings of chocolate cappuccino.
Creating the Drink
Take your liqueur and maple syrup and mix it together in a microwave-safe container. Heat it on high for just 30 seconds. Divide the contents equally amongst 8 cups. Add 1/4 cup espresso to each cup, then froth the milk with your Zulay Milk Boss. Each mug calls for 1/4 cup of frothed milk. Sprinkle your ground cinnamon and chocolate flakes over your drink as desired. Each drink comes in at about 150 calories, depending on how many chocolate flakes you like in your cappuccino.
Apple Cider Latte
Create the perfect blend of frothed milk, espresso, and hot apple cider with the following recipe:
2 shots espresso
3 ounces of apple cider
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
1 cup heavy cream
1/5 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Creating the Drink
Combine the apple cider, the milk, and the maple syrup in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan, heat it, and mix it to make sure it is well combined. You can use your Zulay Milk Boss to mix the liquids. Use the Milk Boss for just a few seconds to make sure the three ingredients are well mixed. Now pour your espresso into your cup. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, and wait for the milk to barely begin steaming before removing. Be sure not to allow it to boil, or it may result in the milk curdling.
To create the whipped cream, take your heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg and mix together with a whisk or your Zulay Milk Boss. Use a hand mixer for about 3 minutes to stiffen the mixture.
Now use your Zulay Milk Boss to froth the warm mix and cider mixture. Pour it into your cup of espresso, top it off with your whipped cream. Now you have the perfect apple cider latte.
